About United Efforts Organization

United Efforts Organization is a social venture by Krishnna Nayyar, Kairav Khurana and Sachit Kumar. It is aimed at aiding those sections of society that are under-resourced and don't have access to items like food, shelter and clothes.

The Project would have been impossible without the support of the volunteers who joined it. Though at the initial stages we were able to feed only 10-20 people, as our efforts gained momentum we were able to serve 200-300 people every month, a commendable feat. The Project helped us realise that concerted effort could really impact change. At the start of the project we did not believe we would be able to impact as deep a change as we were able to.

The Project was further able to create impact in the course of the pandemic owing to the adverse situations that arose. Rising unemployment, salary cuts etc. impacted the poor and marginalized sections of society worse than others, impacting even their daily bread. At this point, we were able to, through concerted efforts, feed many people and continue to do so. While our resources are limited, with the right help, we can impact a greater change to eradicate hunger from the country, eventually the world.

 

Importance of Projects like UEO

 

Social Projects like the United Efforts Organisation are sure to be of aid to society. While the government and NGOs work towards establishing positive changes in society, efforts by members of society to bring about change never go in vain. They are sure to impact change, even if it is small, some change and positive impact is better than no change and impact. 

At this point, UEO is specifically targeted at hunger alleviation. In the future, we are looking to expand our services to medical assistance and check-ups for those who cannot afford them. This is an extremely important service, given the expenses that are often incurred in medical treatment and their timely and important requirement in the lives of those who need it. Given our success in rallying around hunger alleviation and being able to gain volunteers and funds to target the same, we are sure that in the future we will be able to raise the same for other work as well. We also seek to disseminate good education to children coming from urban slums. We believe, together, we can achieve our goals and more.

We are also hopeful of the fact that projects like UEO will inspire others to take charge and impact society. This would create a ripple effect of change - the kind that changes the world.
